I've got Cold

Hmm, because of too many overtime and home late, i've got sick at saturday till now its very unpleasant :(. But even i get sick i must work, today i check divx certification dvdp k*** series. I thougt its only take a short time but long particulary for playability checking. Untill now i haven't finished.

Rejected Arabic OSD

Oh my god, it's unlucky my OSD was rejected three times which caused by uncomplete OSD, there're many osd which use english. But at first asignment i only got for changing and modifying major osd for example Setup Menu and the others will be folowed up by other team. But Now i get full responsibilities to make full Arabic OSD and check it work well or not.

I've release new Arabic OSD and i hope its'nt rejected anymore.

Never Ending Work

Yah..., never ending work, that's what we got here! Every work has scheduled by preemptive method. When we almost finish a job at that time we got new work, so there's no end of work.

Yesterday i came home at 00.20 AM, it's late, so late, i had planed to go home at 9.00 PM, but big boss called me to repair an NG (Not Good) arabic OSD, the repair takes 1 hour but making ROM file and update CD take 3 hours because i was asleep and it made me didn't made eloborate repair.

I am very tired today.....

Chinese Character

Yesterday i got job to make Chinese OSD for DVD Player, i thought it isn't complex like Arabic but it is. Chinese Character has many characters or alphabets and has different meaning each other. For this DVD Player there're 342 characters which were available and when you need a new character you must make it by yourself.

In ESS microprocer the order of Chinese Character is not same with Unicode Standar, so i must hash them one by one and its make me boring ang my eyes tired. That's a job we must do them.

Oh... Padang.

Last Friday, i went to padang but my flight was resechedule from 6.35 AM to 3.40 PM, so there are 6 hours that i lost. Actually the plane flied at 4.00 from jakart and arrived at 5.30. It's pleasing at that time. Since i have worked at PT. SEIN, this was my first time went back to Padang. I love that city.

At Padang i only in my home spending my time with my litle brother and sister, we went to swiming, but after that, therefore in sunday morning rizki (my litle brother) got ear ill, i was very sad. I hope he will better soon.

I went backto Jakarta at 6.35 PM from Padang, but actually the plane flied at 7.15 PM therefore i arrived at Cengkarang at 8.45 PM, unfortuneately the but to Cikarang had gone, so taked bus which was going to Bekasi Barat and i would continue it by using another City Bus.

My  unlucky didn't end at that, i had choosed wrong bus which got to cikarang but taked a long way didn't pass broadway. And i curious that my room key was left in Padang. Finally i had at my boaring host at 11.30 PM and to came in my room, i must climb the window.

Air Asia Delay

Oh.., it's so unlucky i can make my plan because the departure was delayed. On Friday, April 6th 07, i've planned to go back to Padang at 6.35 AM. But by Afternoon Thursday, April 5th 07, Air Asia Customer Service said to me whereas my aviation is delayed because maintenance reason to 3.40 PM and it will waste my time. I only have limited vacant times sicnce i've worked at Samsung so only one day full left for vacation in Padang.

Indonesian and Arabic On Screen Display

For 3 days i have worked for making Indonesia OSD to DVD player for Indonesia Buyer, there're approx 2000 words was translated from English to Indonesia, fortunetaly Indonesian aphabet is latin's and we didn't need to make a new code emerge alphabets. The hardest way was when we translate English to Indonesian because we can't find the same meaning easily.

And now, i get duty to repair Arabic OSD, and it's harder than making Indonesian OSD, we must know the unicode, array, and variabel.

Starbucks

Do you know starbucks? off course you know, that a familiar word for the youth and perhap they often go to starbuck for taste a cup of coffee. But yesterday was my first time went to starbuck cafe.

My fisrt impression in starbuck cafe is it too elegant and makes me get litle bit nervous. But after a few minutes i feel comfortable with that, i thing that was caused starbucks big name and elitism. For me starbuck and others cafe are the same, i more apreciate and comfortable in local cafe or padang restourant, because i can't enjoy with elite or high class situation. That's me, i prefer martabak mesir than pizza.

ESS

What is my work at Samsung? I am a ESS programmer now who have a duty for resolving problem list of DVD model. I think ESS is a complicated code, the core of system still closed so we only modify opened part like OSD and Common Feature. All of ESS code was builded by C Language and for effectife and getting small size we use many preprocecor for controlling code and fitur which will be implemented.

During tracing proble i often traped in code, it's caused there are many global variabel for controlling program flow like semaphore and unfortunately i don't know what them for.

Template

Hmmm, at last, i've found a unique template for my blog. Why i didnt't use my customization template because sinve i work at Samsung i dont't have many vacant times (oh.. silly). I thing this template will be used untill i have time to modificate my own template.

On Yogya

On Yogya, many thing had i done. I met my friend, treat them, talked along and went to time zone to spend time. I saw, there is nothing has changed of Yogya. I feel the situation like i was studying in Yogya.

But. My dorm has changed, the member and rule was getting better

Back to Yogya

On Friday, January 26th '07. We went to TMII (Taman Mini Indonesia Indah). At TMII we visited many "anjungan" or replicate all of Indonesia culture, there are Minangkabau, Dayak, Java, Papua and others. Many thinks we could get at there, everything about Indonesian culture.

After we had visited TMII, at 2.30 PM we separated from the group, we went to Pasar Senen Train Station, and headed to Yogya. Train departed at 8.00 PM and arrived at Yogya tomorrow at 6.00 AM. The trip was good enough.

I released my missing of Yogya.

Dinner in Korean Restaurant

Hups, i have tried Korean Food yesterday, bulgogi, kimchi and soju. Korean Food is spicy and contain much garlic. The taste of kimchi like stale vegetables but if you can be normal with it, it can be delicious because of it's unique taste.

Okay, Now, we talk about bulgogi, the main things of bulgogi is meat, i don't know how they make, but it delicious. We wrap meat by colliflower, and put garlic in it. So put them all to ypur mouth. Its delicious!!

There were many kind of foods that i can't explain because i don't what they name are in Korea. There are many clam and other seafood.

Job Interview Invitations at January 07 Third week

Oh..., what has happened on me, after 2 month i am waiting there is no job interview invitation i got. But, in this week i have gotten many invitation and unfortunately i have i PT. SEIN. I can't imagine i have lost invitation from BNI 46 as programmer, BPD DIY as programmer, PT. Taspen as IT Staff and Band Danamon as IT staff. Why the invitation didn't come earlier.

And today i am too afraid to release my R&D position at PT SEIN. Oh Allah, please give me Your sing, what decision i have to make. I alway believe You will give the best for me.

Naruto Manga

After a long time, at least 6 months, i never read or downloaded naruto manga, but today i do. I use fast internet connection in a place which a i can't tell where is.

I've download at least 30 editions at read it at same time. I've freed my desire to read naruto manga, which has pended for 6 months. The story is more complex and interesting.

PCD Schema & Software Engineering

Yeah, today, i got software engineering training by Jan Warren. This session talks about how to design and make a software, the steps, rules, and tools. This session takes 4 hours, and i thought it seems a little bit bored.

Before Software Engineering, we got PCB Design training by Taufan, he teach us how to design PCB schema using CR-5000, we are designing a PCB but didn't know what for it was. We enjoyed the training because we could implement the lesson directly. This kind of training that we wanted ever.

At last, i will finish this day by spending time until 7.00 PM with browsing at SMART room in PT. SEIN.

Microprocessor & PCB Training

Ups...

Today, i got microprocessor and PCB training. Again, they're boring trainings. Much of subject must be understand in short time, i thought that is impossible. How can, IT graduates can understand about Circuit and PCB design only in 1 week on 8 hours for 1 session each.

Cikarang City

Form January 8th, 2007, i have been in Cikarang.
Okay, i would tell some story about Cikarang.

1. Cikarang is 60 km off from Jakarta
2. If you want to go t Jakarta, it will takes Rp. 30.000,- at minimum
- Rp. 2000,- for angkot from Kos to broadway
- Rp. 9000,- for bus from Cikarang to Blok M
- Rp. 2000,- for bus from blok M to Center Jakarta
3. Everything is expensive
4. Very Hot, even it get Rain, it still hot, Rain's effect only far a minute.
5. To many factory and have 2 indutry area.

Today and so on, i'l try to hold on Cikarang city.

After R & D Session 2

Oh... i miss you my blog. i have loose for a long time because i don't have any free connection (Internet cafe provide low connection and many thing i must do than write a blog).


Okay, today, i am in R&D training, i got interaction book design lesson (off course i don't understand) and C programming language (i got some point in this session). Overview that training is good, but sometimes it make me bore.

Got a Job

At Last, I get a job. I have been waiting this for six month's. Suddenly at early January 2007, i got medicak check up invitation at PT. Samsung Electronics Indonesia, I thought, i missed that chance because they have been late to inform the invitation.
